What’s On at Alconbury Weald: King’s Coronation celebration

With the nation set to celebrate the coronation of King Charles III next weekend, friends and families at Alconbury Weald will be heading to Watch Office Green for an afternoon of community festivities from midday to 5pm on Sunday 7 May.

With live music, a family-friendly quiz, children’s games and a Coronation Bake Off competition, as well as food from Nomadough and Bohemia, there is something for everyone to enjoy as we see in a new era of the British monarchy.

Natalie Leigh-Brown, Community Development Lead for Urban&Civic, said: “Alconbury Weald’s Community Association has been busy finalising plans for the coronation weekend, and we can’t wait to celebrate this historic milestone with friends and neighbours at the heart of the development. 

“As well as the Sunday afternoon of festivities, residents will be taking part in the Big Help Out, with a litter pick around Alconbury Weald on the bank holiday Monday.”
