Alconbury Weald’s Early Years setting is Jemima House Nursery.
Jemima House is a beautiful, modern, brand new nursery based within Ermine Street Church Academy, which supports children from birth to five years old. Run by a local provider – Mother Goose Nurseries - with over two decades of experience in offering homely and child-orientated nursery care, Jemima House employs a team of the very best practitioners to ensure a place that children thrive and achieve their potential.
The bespoke and purpose-built space, helps each child learn, develop and grow as they engage in meaningful play. Beautifully-equipped, safe and stimulating indoor and outdoor spaces aim to provide a wealth of learning opportunities for all three age groups. The close proximity to the foundation stage classes of the adjoining school also provide a seamless transition for children when starting 'big school'.
A second nursery is planned for 2024/25.
“We at Jemima House place the health, happiness and well-being of our little ones as paramount, and look to care for each child in the unique and special way each of them so rightly deserves. We are passionate about supporting children not only to achieve each of their developmental milestones, but also to become strong, confident and happy children who are open-minded and curious about the world around them. With the Early Years known to be some of the most important in any individual's life, we hope to support children in reaching their full potential in the most natural and holistic way possible.”
