Alconbury Weald Enterprise Campus based MM Flowers impressed the judges with its ethos, quality and approach - revolutionising the cut flower industry by raising standards, championing innovative approaches, utilising energy-efficient solutions and empowering its workforce – and took the award for Large Scale Business of the Year.

Urban&Civic, master developer for Alconbury Weald, sponsored the Business Innovation Award, which recognises a business that has made remarkable progress in its field, whether through the development of an innovative new product or the introduction of a groundbreaking process or system to enhance an existing business. It celebrates those who are driving change, improving efficiency, and setting new standards of excellence.

On presenting the award to Glebe Farm Foods, Paul Murfin, Communications and Partnerships Manager for Urban&Civic said:

We’re delighted to have sponsored the Business Innovation Award at the first ever Huntingdonshire Business Awards and are thrilled that it has gone to Glebe Farm Foods.
