Work underway to complete paths and roads around the cricket pitch

The teams from Hopkins Homes and Crest Nicholson will be carrying out finishing works around the cricket pitch on surrounding paths and roads in a programme of works over the next couple of months. Please look out for signage and follow any diversion routes in place.

Hopkins Homes will be undertaking works to complete the footpath and bellmouth at the top of Cartwright Close until 13 February 2026. Sections of the footpath will be closed while work is carried out and the two sides of the bellmouth will need to be closed to vehicles for a brief period, with advance notice provided.  During these works they will use part of the car park south of the cricket pitch to minimise associated construction traffic on Senliz Road. The Crest Nicholson team will also be carrying out works to complete the surfacing to roads north of the cricket pitch. Nokes Road and Pickering Way is being surfaced in January/early February. This will be followed by Heathcote Cresent, Sayer Drive, the
remainder of Nokes Road and the Crest side of Keache Way. Then from the end of February and into March, Wassingley Way will be completed. If you have any questions about these works, please email customerservices@crestnicholson.com.
